Have you ever wanted to experience a performance in a swimming pool?
Well, now’s your chance!
Femme Physique by Forget-me-not explores the relationship between body and water through a seductive and rebellious site-specific performance.
At the pool, accompanied by a local female choir, the choreographic duo Forget-me-not unravel an ode to the unapologetic female body – wrinkles, cellulite, goosebumps, smooth and hard lines, thin and thick skin.
Performance artists Snædís Lilja and Sigríður Ásta are Forget-me-not. They love big studios for work. They use improvisation, follow their intuition and flow when creating. On Fridays they summarize the week’s work over a glass of champagne where their best ideas are born (and their worst).
The performance usually takes place in a swimming pool but it can be performed in a number of site specific locations.
The company is working on a non-pool version that will premiere in April 2026.The performers are two plus a local female choir.
