Logbook

Solène Wachter and Bryana Fritz (France)
18:45 – Teatro Jordão

On stage, fragments accumulate, collide and overlap. Gestures, sounds and ideas appear, disappear, return and interrupt each other. Logbook unfolds as a space of polyphony, where several things are allowed to happen at the same time, without being aligned or resolved. Registers shift abruptly, textures layer, rhythms break. What emerges is not fusion but friction, a live composition made of short scenes and sudden turns.

Almost like a concert of dance, Logbook is, at its core, an encounter between two performers –Solène Wachter and Bryana Fritz– opening their intimate repertoires and testing how disorder, excess and coexistence can be held together in real time.
