An invitation to pay attention.
Working in real time, two performers with different bodies negotiate weight, time, proximity, and support. Akin to climbing, the material develops through continuous decision-making, where attention functions as material.
The work unfolds gradually through accumulation and sustained negotiation. Shifts in density and intensity emerge through the ongoing and constantly changing conditions of the encounter.
The piece forms an extended enquiry into how attention structures movement and perception in performance.

Biography:

Charlie and Markéta are experienced performers. Charlie has worked in varied settings—from natural landscapes to theatres—collaborating with a diverse range of professionals. His practice is shaped by context and the transformative potential of live events. Markéta draws from contemporary and traditional dance, puppet theatre, and clowning, focusing on intergenerational and multicultural projects. She explores movement as a dancer with a different physicality. Both value the creative process and enjoy working outside traditional venues, engaging with new audiences and unique locations.

Notes:

Charlie and Markéta offer a workshop based on their piece for participants with different dance experience and age groups.
